The Cisco Small Form-Factor Pluggable is the industry-standard for gigabit interface converters, seamlessly linking your switches and routers to the network. The hot-swappable input/output device plugs into a Gigabit Ethernet port or slot, and the optical and copper models can be intermixed with a variety of Cisco products.

This transceiver module utilizes 1000BASE-T SFP for Category 5 copper wire and a RJ-45 connector.
