2 dual-purpose (10/100/1000 and SFP) ports offer Gigabit Ethernet, with advanced QoS functions and Cisco?s renowned security solutions, for both subscriber (DHCP Snooping, ARP Inspection, IP Source Guard) and switch (Configurable Control Plane Security, Port Security, and Storm Control).

Cisco has designed the 3400G-2CS-A to be incredibly compact and easy to deploy in the smaller spaces a Metro Ethernet user might need, with a form factor of 1RU x 7.1in., and all access is from the front of the device.
