The Cisco 4500E Series WS-X4748-UPOE E linecard provides PoE across 48 nonblocking 10/100/1000 RJ-45 ports. Providing up to 60W of UPOE per port, the WS-X4748-UPOE E is ideal for switching scenarios with endpoints that require large amounts of power, such as virtual desktop terminals, compact switches, wireless APs, IP Phones, and other PoE endpoints.

The WS-X4748-UPOE E provides 802.3af PoE, 802.3at PoE, as well as UPOE, and is compatible with 4500 E series chassis.
