Cisco FET-10G - Overview

The Fabric Extender Transceiver (FET-10G) is optimized for Cisco’s Nexus 2000 Series Fabric Extenders and their parent Nexus switches. Unlike standard 10GBASE-SR optics, the FET-10G is only supported for FEX uplinks and not for general 10G SR links.
