The ASR 9001 service provider edge router provides the speed and reliability of the ASR product line in a small, 2RU chassis. With an integrated RSP (Route Switch Processor) running a standard ASR IOS-XR image, this router is an ideal choice for service providers aiming to standardize hardware and software across a varied customer base.?The ASR-9001 comes furnished with four coordinated 10 Gigabit Ethernet SFP ports, a GPS contribution for timing, BITS ports, and an administration port. It also supports up to two extra modular port adapters, which allow for the addition of extra 1 Gigabit Ethernet, 10 Gigabit Ethernet, or 40 Gigabit Ethernet ports.
