The Cisco C4KX-NM-8SFP+ Catalyst 4500-X 8 Port 10GE Network Module provides additional SFP or SFP+ ports to any of the compatible 4500-X series switches.
Switches compatible with the C4KX0NM-8SFP+ include the WS-C4500X-16SFP+, WS-C4500X-24X, WS-C4500X-32SFP+ and WS-C4500X-40X-ES platforms.
This 4500-X expansion module supports both SFP and SFP+ transceivers, allowing expansion of your existing 4500-X switches in a variety of ways. Supported 10G transceivers include the SFP-10G-SR, SFP-10G-LR and SFP-10G-ZR SFP+ modules. 1G transceivers compatible with this module include the GLC-SX-MMD, GLC-LH-SMD, and copper GLC-T modules.
