CP-8861-3PCC-K9 Overview
The Cisco CP-8861-3PCC-K9 ships with 3PCC Multi platform Phone Firmware. This bundle provides high-fidelity VoIP calling with a variety of call-control options. Cisco’s 8861 has a full color display, as well as great speakerphone and handset clarity. Additional hardware buttons for call transfer and conference features make navigation easy. A prominent voicemail LED bar and line indicators make using this phone extremely intuitive. The 8861 provides all the hardware features you need to get the most out of your VoIP service.
Cisco’s 3PCC firmware load allows the cutting edge 8861 IP Phone to integrate with these 3rd party platforms. While the features provided by this firmware are not identical to Cisco call control systems, there are many similarities. Examples of 3rd party platforms that support the 8861 include Asterisk, Broadcloud and Broadsoft. If you are looking to integrate the 8861 with a Cisco call control platform, you will need to order the CP-8861-K9 instead.
