Cisco VIC3-2FXS/DID

The Cisco VIC3-2FXS/DID allows simple connection between 2800, 2900, 3800 and 3900 series Cisco routers, and the public switched telephone network and traditional telephony devices via two RJ-11 ports.? By combining data and voice in a single network, the user has access to services like toll-bypass, integrated services, and IP telephony, while simplifying deployment and communications management.

The VIC3?s Voice over Packet functionality means that traditional telephony can be improved upon with features like per-port caller ID, Voice Activity Detection (VAD), call forwarding, and Hoot and Holler multicast voice services over IP.
