Description
The 3750G may not be the newest switch, but it remains one of the most popular switches on the market. When you just need 48 gigabit PoE ports with L3 features and stacking, It’s hard to find a safer bet than the 3750G-48PS-S. For a fraction of the cost of current-gen switches, the 3750G provides all the speed, features and power that most access networks will ever need. These resilient layer 3 switches come equipped with Cisco StackWise technology, which allows for the creation of a 32-Gbps unified switching system of up to nine Cisco 3750 switches. With QOS, IPv6 Routing, and advanced layer 3 features such as OSFP, EIGRP and BGP available on all hardware models, the 3750 has proven itself to be a cost effective, feature rich, highly scalable platform for almost any switching application.
The WS-C3750G-48PS-S switch is one of the most versatile PoE switches available. Providing a total of 48 10/100/1000 ports, the WS-C3750G-48PS-S is perfect for applications that require power over Ethernet at gigabit speeds, such as high quality VoIP and video conferencing. Providing 15.4W per port across 24 ports, or 7.7W across 48 ports of either 802.3af or Cisco pre-standard PoE, the WS-C3750G-48PS-S is capable of powering a wide range of phones, access points, and IP Cameras, allowing administrators to mix and match equipment without worrying about PoE compatibility.
