This Cisco QSFP uses a 12 fiber MPO connector, and is ideal for high bandwidth 100Gbase Ethernet applications. MPO-12 connections use a series of parallel fiber strands for transmission, allowing for greater speeds and more rapid integration with existing active optical equipment.
