The Cisco 1-Port 10-GE SPA is used to add a 10G XFP port to several of Cisco’s high-end routing platforms, offering the benefits of network scalability with lower initial costs and ease of upgrades.

The SPA-1X10GE-L-V2 is compatible with a variety of platforms, including the Catalyst 6500, 7600 Series Routers, 12000 series Routers, ASR 1000, CRS, and Cisco 10000 series routers. Installing this SPA card in a compatible devices allows for the addition of a 10G XFP module, such as the XFP-10GLR-OC192SR or XFP-10G-MM-SR.
