WS-C2960X-48FPS-L Gigabit Switch
The WS-C2960X-48FPS-L is a member of the 2960X series of fixed configuration stacking switches. The 2960X series was designed to bring enterprise grade connectivity to campus and branch locations. This powerful yet easy to manage switch is highly scalable, energy efficient, and feature rich, providing 48 gigabit PoE ports and 4 1G SFP uplink ports. With its low price point and high port density of 1G ports, it’s clear why the 2960X is one of the most sought after Cisco switches on the market.
In addition to its high port density, the 740W of PoE provided by the WS-C2960X-48FPS-L also makes it well equipped serve as an access layer switch for wireless or VoIP applications. QoS features and high throughput provide the speed, power and control you need to ensure the best user experience possible.
All 2960X switches are stackable, allowing up to 8 switches to form a single unit with up to 80 Gbps of stack throughput. This is exceptionally useful in high density networks with large amounts of internal communication and data transfer. By running your wireless access points, video conferencing, or high-throughput applications servers through a 2960X stack, you eliminate the 1G or 10G bottleneck of a traditional trunked connection. This optional feature of the WS-C2960X-48FPS-L requires a flex stack module and a FlexStack-Plus stacking cable, which are available upon request.
