The Cisco WS-C3850-48T-S next generation stackable Ethernet switches provide a platform for access and aggregation layer networking, offering a powerful single point of convergence between wired and wireless networking. Providing a robust switching platform, multiple cutting edge wireless standards, and a huge array of interchangeable interface modules, fans, and power supply options, the WS-C3850-48T-S can be custom outfitted to perform in a wide variety of access or aggregation networking scenarios.

With 48 Ports, optional upgrades for additional 1G or 10G SFP ports, and the versatile IP Base feature set, the WS-C3850-48T-S is the standard issue 3850-48T switch. Two other feature sets are available for this model, including the lightweight and affordable LAN Base feature set (WS-C3850-48T-L) and the powerful IP Services feature set (WS-C3850-48T-E). PoE Power is available on the WS-C3850-48P-S and WS-C3850-48F-S models, which supply up to 450W or 800W of PoE respectively.
