Cisco’s 3560-CX compact switch product line makes it possible to expand your gigabit ethernet network outside of your wiring closet. Their small form factor, fanless design, and high throughput make these switches ideal for extending your network to locations where running multiple cables would be challenging. Additionally, the fanless operating of these switches make them a good pick for installation locations such as offices or call center floors, where the loud whir of fans would cause discomfort or distraction.

The WS-C3560CX-12TC-S  ships with IP Base by default, but can be upgraded to the IP Services feature set to allow for full Layer 3 routing capabilities, such as BGP, Multicast Routing and VRF Lite.
